Web & Print Design

Explore Metsähaasi’s roots in graphic design and web development. Handcrafted brochures, logos, and websites made with care in North Karelia — where storytelling meets strong visual identity.

Current and Past Projects

These are some of the longer stories.
This portfolio isn’t a full archive of every project I’ve touched, but a representative selection of the ones that stayed with me a little longer — ongoing collaborations, evolving websites, and designs that weathered more than one season.

The timeline begins around 2011, when I registered my first business and stepped into the world of web and print design. Some of these projects are still active today, others have gently come to rest. All of them hold a place in the journey.

Active Project

painomestari.fi

Once a local printshop with white-label roots, Painomestari has now found its voice in the forest. The site offers practical print guides and honest advice for anyone creating printed matter — no jargon, just helpful knowledge, shared from years of experience.

www.painomestari.fi

Print wisdom whispered through the pines.

Active Project

metsahaasi.fi

This is my family’s world — the Metsähaasi homestead. I built the site as a living portfolio, a journal, and a shop window for the crafts we create with our own hands.

www.metsahaasi.fi

Handmade paths from forest to firelight.

Active Client

mpu-erfolgskurs.de

A full online course system, built from scratch — video lectures, a clean UI, smart SEO, and ongoing newsletter campaigns. Still running strong after all these years.

www.mpu-erfolgskurs.de

Clarity. Courage. A new road begins.

Active Client

pro-gesang.de

For a voice coach with a deep passion for singing. We crafted an online course together, built the site, and tuned the whole system for visibility and ease of use.

www.pro-gesang.de

Every voice has a home.

Active Client

impulskurse.de

A platform for ideas that spark something. High-quality video courses on all kinds of topics — I designed the site and helped build a steady stream of traffic and subscribers.

www.impulskurse.de

Small sparks, lasting change.

Active Client

frankenprint.de

A classic German printshop stepping into the online world. We balanced tradition and tech, combining hands-on service with sharp pricing and a friendly, modern interface.

www.frankenprint.de

Ink, paper, and Franconian roots.

Active Client

susofix-ippach.de

A cozy online store tucked into the Franconian countryside, offering beloved soup powders, seasoning blends, and family-favorite spice mixes. I came in to overhaul their Google Ads and fine-tune performance.

www.susofix-ippach.de

Seasoned with memory, stirred with love.

Active Client

cadela-carlota.com

A heartfelt one. A multilingual site for a dog shelter in Portugal, built to connect with supporters across Europe.

www.cadela-carlota.com

A dog’s story, gently told.

Active Client

wassermann-tore.de

An industrial gate company from Nürnberg that wanted more than a brochure site — so we optimized every page for Google to bring in steady, organic traffic that keeps the leads flowing.

www.wassermann-tore.de

Heavy gates, finely tuned presence.

Active Client

procasa-hoen.de

A passionate real estate agent in rural Germany who needed a digital home base — simple, searchable, and self-managed, right alongside the big platforms.

www.procasa-hoen.de

A quiet key to real homes.

Past Client

staerkerleben.de

A life coach with a calling — his website had to reflect both his strength and his softness, and be flexible enough to host both sessions and self-paced courses.

www.staerkerleben.de

Resilience, written into every page.

Project ended

marvellousmanuka.de

A deep-dive niche project born from a fascination with natural healing — this Manuka Honey site focused entirely on SEO, affiliate traffic, and long-form value.

www.marvellousmanuka.de

Golden honey, digital trails.

Client retired

bonndruck24.de

The print shop had a good team but no visibility. So we put this focused site in front of their main website to catch search traffic and guide it straight to their door.

www.bonndruck24.de

Print found its path to the front door.

Past client

medine-schopfloch.de

Franken’s carnival crowd needed a digital basecamp — so I built them a colorful website with a ticket system, an events calendar, and all the sparkle.

www.medine-schopfloch.de

Laughter, lights, and local legends.

Active Client

via-claudia-bogensport.de

A quiet, traditional archery shop in Germany — the kind you only find by word of mouth — needed a web presence. I kept it simple and true to his vibe.

www.via-claudia-bogensport.de

Drawn bows and digital campfires.

Past Client

Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co.KG

From 2013 to 2015, I rolled out localized dealer sites for Kärcher export markets — adapting HQ content, ensuring brand consistency, and managing the handoff.

www.kaercher.de

Behind the scenes, across the globe.

Project ended

musicteachershelper.com

For almost a decade, I ran paid ads for this music teacher software. It paid per sign-up and taught me the long game of keyword testing and slow-burn success.

www.musicteachershelper.com

Clicks, chords, and a decade of trust.

Client retired

schriftexperte.de

One of the very first websites I ever built — for my father, Bernhard Haas, an expert of typewriters. Though retired, he still takes on the occasional intriguing case. The site remains as a timeless and historic document.

www.schriftexperte.de

Typed on ribbon, etched in memory.

Get in touch!

Long before Metsähaasi became a homestead of leather, tools, and workshop fire, I worked in design — crafting websites, logos, print materials, and visual identities for small businesses, non-profit associations and individuals.

Though my hands are now more often in leather and wood, my design background still shapes how I see and build things. This is a selection from that chapter: work that taught me about clarity, composition, and the quiet power of thoughtful design.

I no longer take on large design projects, but I occasionally say yes to something that resonates. If you feel a spark, feel free to write me at alessandro@metsahaasi.fi
